Terms of service

These terms apply when you buy anything from 996.MONSTER. Buying from us means you accept them. We have tried to write them in plain English rather than in a way that hides the parts you would care about.

Who we are

996.MONSTER is an independent shop operated by a registered business in Malaysia. You can reach us at support@996.monster and we answer from that address.

What we sell

Digital goods for mobile and online games: game accounts, in-game items and cards, top-ups and in-game currency, and related digital products. What each listing includes is described on its own page before you pay.

Every account we sell is a real account that was played and owned by another player, and we bought it from them. Nothing is generated automatically, nothing is modified, and we never obtain an account by taking it from the person it belonged to.

Buying and paying

Prices are shown in US dollars and are charged in US dollars. Payment is taken on Stripe’s own checkout page. We never see or hold your card number, and there is nothing card-related in our systems.

An order is confirmed when Stripe confirms the payment, not when you leave the payment page. If a payment is confirmed for an amount that does not match the order, we do not deliver — we hold it and contact you.

These terms cover orders placed and paid for on this site. Where the same accounts are sold through a marketplace, that order is covered by the marketplace’s own terms and buyer protection instead — along with the terms published at the collection point where it is handed over. Which set applies is decided by where you paid, not by which of our pages you happen to be reading.

Buy five, the sixth is free. Five accounts of one standard bought on this site earn one more account of that same standard at no charge. An account counts once it is secured — once you have taken it over and our copy of the login has been deleted, whether by your confirmation or by our thirty-day retention purge.

Accounts delivered and not yet secured are shown as pending on your rack and are not counted; an order that is refunded is removed from the count, and a free account does not count towards a further free one.

The free account is opened from your accounts page and is subject to us holding stock of that standard at the time — it is not exchangeable for money or for a different standard.

Purchases made on a marketplace are counted separately there, under that shopfront’s own version of this offer. We may change or withdraw the offer for future purchases; a free account already earned is not withdrawn.

Delivery

If the account is ready, your order page opens with the login within seconds of payment. If it is not, we have 24 hours to find you one. If we are late, we deliver you an account from our available stock at no charge and continue sourcing the one you ordered, which you also receive at no further cost. This does not limit your right to a refund: any order we have not delivered can be refunded in full from your order page at any time, before or after that deadline, and we do not get to decide.

Where one payment covers more than one account, each account is a separate order. They are delivered as they become available, refunded individually, and guaranteed individually.

Accounts sold as a specific listing are one of a kind. Once you start checkout, that account is held for you and taken off sale until your payment page expires — nobody else can buy it while you are paying.

What you should do straight away

Change the password, then change the email address to one that belongs to you. Both steps are a checklist on your order page. Until you have done this, someone else still knows the login, and the guarantee below is what covers you in the meantime.

We keep your login visible for 30 days, or until you mark the account as secured — whichever is first. Then we delete our copy. We do not want to hold working passwords.

The guarantee

For 7 days after you mark the account secured, or from delivery if you never do — not from when it was delivered — we replace it if the login stops working, if you lose access to it, or if it is suspended. Report it from your order page. Full detail is on the refunds page.

Game publisher rules

The game’s own rules do not allow an account to change hands — the same as almost every other game with accounts — and the cards inside an account are licensed to the player rather than owned by them. This is not against the law. It is the game’s rules, and if it is ever noticed the consequence is that an account can be suspended.

What we sell are accounts bought from players and checked by us: nothing generated, nothing exploited, no tools and no tampering. Every account is checked before it is sent, you get 7 days to report a problem, and the first thing we tell you to do is secure it.

Our guarantee covers a suspension that happens inside the guarantee window, unless it followed cheating, tampering or the use of third-party tools on the account after it reached you. Play normally and buy from the in-game shop the normal way and that exception will not come up. The guarantee does not make us able to recover a suspended account, and nothing we sell comes with any promise from the game’s publisher.

Things you agree not to do

Do not buy from us to resell without telling us, do not use stolen payment methods, and do not attempt to reverse a payment for an account you still hold and use. Chargebacks raised without contacting us first are handled as disputes with the evidence we keep, described in our privacy policy.

No affiliation

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK or DeNA. All trademarks and game content belong to their owners. We sell access to accounts, not the games themselves and not any rights in them.

Limits

Our responsibility to you is limited to what you paid for the order in question — a replacement, or your money back. We are not liable for time spent playing, progress made after delivery, or anything you go on to buy inside the game.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you bought.
