Metapod is a Stage 1 Grass-type Pokémon with 80 HP, weak to Fire and a retreat cost of 2. It is card 006 of 286 in Genetic Apex, printed at Common, and it turns up in the Pikachu pack. It evolves from Caterpie. 186 cards in the expansion are rarer than this one. The art is by Yuka Morii, who has 20 other cards in the game.
It is waiting for the moment to evolve. At this stage, it can only harden, so it remains motionless to avoid attack.
