Every Absol card

The short version

Absol has six printings in Pokémon TCG Pocket, across six expansions — the earliest in Celestial Guardians and the most recent in Promo A. It is a Basic Darkness-type Pokémon printed at between 70 and 80 HP, weak to Grass, with a retreat cost of 1. They run to three rarities — three Uncommons, two Rares and one Shiny. The hardest to pull is the Shiny from Pulsing Aura, at about 1 in 559 packs, or 1,000 Pack Points to buy outright. Nine hunts in ten end inside 1,285 packs, which is about 1.8 years at the two free packs a day the game gives you. The printings come out of six different packs. The most recent is Absol #117, from an expansion that shipped in October 2024. That printing attacks with Leap Over. The card’s own words: “Swift as the wind, Absol races through fields and mountains. Its curved, bow-like horn is acutely sensitive to the warning signs of natural disasters.” It has been drawn by six artists.
