Every Alolan Raichu card

5 printings across 3 expansions. Evolves from Pikachu.

The short version

Alolan Raichu has five printings in Pokémon TCG Pocket, across three expansions — the earliest in Celestial Guardians and the most recent in Fantastical Parade. It is a Stage 1 Lightning-type Pokémon printed at between 110 and 140 HP, weak to Fighting, with a retreat cost of 2. They run to four rarities — one Rare, two Double Rares, one Super Rare and one Special Art Rare. The hardest to pull is the Special Art Rare from Celestial Guardians, at about 1 in 384 packs, or 1,250 Pack Points to buy outright. Nine hunts in ten end inside 883 packs, which is about 1.2 years at the two free packs a day the game gives you. The printings come out of the Gardevoir, Deluxe and Solgaleo packs. The most recent is Alolan Raichu #050, from an expansion that shipped in January 2026. That printing carries the ability Surge Surfer and attacks with Thunder Spear. The card’s own words: “This Pokémon rides on its tail while it uses its psychic powers to levitate. It attacks with star-shaped thunderbolts.” It has been drawn by three artists, PLANETA CG Works more than anyone else with three cards.
