Every Forretress card

The short version

Forretress has three printings in Pokémon TCG Pocket, across two expansions — the earliest in Wisdom of Sea and Sky and the most recent in Mega Shine. It is a Stage 1 Metal-type Pokémon printed at between 100 and 130 HP, weak to Fire, with a retreat cost of 3. They run to two rarities — two Uncommons and one Shiny. The hardest to pull is the Shiny from Mega Shine, at about 1 in 670 packs, or 1,000 Pack Points to buy outright. Nine hunts in ten end inside 1,543 packs, which is about 2.1 years at the two free packs a day the game gives you. The printings come out of the Mega Shine, Lugia and Ho-Oh packs. The most recent is Forretress #046, from an expansion that shipped in March 2026. That printing attacks with Enormous Explosion for 100. The card’s own words: “Its entire body is shielded by a steel-hard shell. What lurks inside this shell is a total mystery.” It has been drawn by three artists.
