Every Komala card

The short version

Komala has two printings in Pokémon TCG Pocket, all of them in Celestial Guardians. It is a Basic Colorless-type Pokémon with 90 HP, weak to Fighting, with a retreat cost of 2. They run to two rarities — one Uncommon and one Art Rare. The hardest to pull is the Art Rare from Celestial Guardians, at about 1 in 186 packs, or 400 Pack Points to buy outright. Nine hunts in ten end inside 427 packs, which is about 7 months at the two free packs a day the game gives you. The printings come out of the Solgaleo pack. The most recent is Komala #141, from an expansion that shipped in April 2025. That printing carries the ability Comatose: As long as this Pokémon is in the Active Spot, whenever you attach an Energy from your Energy Zone to it, it is now Asleep. It attacks with Rolling Tackle, which costs two Colorless energy and hits for 70. The card’s own words: “Komala spends its entire life sleeping. It feeds on leaves that contain a potent poison only Komala can break down.” It has been drawn by two artists.
