Every Mimikyu card

The short version

Mimikyu has eight printings in Pokémon TCG Pocket, across five expansions — the earliest in Celestial Guardians and the most recent in Promo A. It is a Basic Psychic-type Pokémon printed at between 70 and 120 HP, weak to Darkness, with a retreat cost of 1. They run to seven rarities — two Commons, one Uncommon, one Double Rare, one Art Rare, one Super Rare, one Special Art Rare and one Shiny Super Rare. The hardest to pull is the Shiny Super Rare from Team Rocket’s Ambition, at about 1 in 240 packs, or 1,350 Pack Points to buy outright. Nine hunts in ten end inside 551 packs, which is about 9 months at the two free packs a day the game gives you. The printings come out of five different packs. The most recent is Mimikyu #066, from an expansion that shipped in October 2024. That printing attacks with Shadow Hit for 60. The card’s own words: “There was a scientist who peeked under Mimikyu’s old rag in the name of research. The scientist died of a mysterious disease.” It has been drawn by seven artists, PLANETA CG Works more than anyone else with two cards.
