Every Paras card

The short version

Paras has one printing in Pokémon TCG Pocket, in Genetic Apex. It is a Basic Grass-type Pokémon with 70 HP, weak to Fire, with a retreat cost of 1. The only printing is a Common. A Common has no rare-slot rate to quote — it fills the slots every pack is guaranteed to have, so opening the right expansion at all will turn one up. It comes out of the Pikachu pack. That expansion shipped in October 2024. It attacks with Scratch, which costs one Grass and one Colorless energy and hits for 30. The card’s own words: “The mushrooms, known as tochukaso, are controlling the bug. Even if the bug bugs the mushrooms, they tell it to bug off.” It is drawn by Naoyo Kimura.
