Every Pinsir card

The short version

Pinsir has six printings in Pokémon TCG Pocket, across five expansions — the earliest in Genetic Apex and the most recent in Mega Rising. It is a Basic Grass-type Pokémon with 90 HP, weak to Fire, with a retreat cost of 2. They run to four rarities — three Commons, one Uncommon, one Art Rare and one Shiny. The hardest to pull is the Shiny from Eevee Grove, at about 1 in 279 packs, or 1,000 Pack Points to buy outright. Nine hunts in ten end inside 643 packs, which is about 11 months at the two free packs a day the game gives you. The printings come out of seven different packs. The most recent is Pinsir #001, from an expansion that shipped in October 2025. That printing attacks with X-Scissor for 50+. The card’s own words: “This Pokémon clamps its pincers down on its prey and then either splits the prey in half or flings it away.” It has been drawn by six artists.
