Every Prinplup card

The short version

Prinplup has two printings in Pokémon TCG Pocket, across two expansions — the earliest in Space-Time Smackdown and the most recent in Mega Shine. It is a Stage 1 Water-type Pokémon printed at between 80 and 90 HP, weak to Lightning, with a retreat cost of 1. Every printing is an Uncommon. The hardest to pull is the Uncommon from Space-Time Smackdown, at about 1 in 37 packs, or 70 Pack Points to buy outright. Nine hunts in ten end inside 86 packs, which is about 6 weeks at the two free packs a day the game gives you. The printings come out of the Mega Shine and Palkia packs. The most recent is Prinplup #019, from an expansion that shipped in March 2026. That printing attacks with Water Splash, which costs one Water and one Colorless energy and hits for 30+. Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 30 more damage. The card’s own words: “Because every Prinplup considers itself to be the most important, they can never form a group.” It has been drawn by two artists.
