Every Starmie card

The short version

Starmie has seven printings in Pokémon TCG Pocket, across four expansions — the earliest in Genetic Apex and the most recent in Ruler of the Skies. It is a Stage 1 Water-type Pokémon printed at between 90 and 130 HP, weak to Lightning, with a retreat cost of 1. They run to five rarities — two Uncommons, two Double Rares, one Super Rare, one Shiny and one Shiny Super Rare. The hardest to pull is the Shiny Super Rare from Celestial Guardians, at about 1 in 479 packs, or 1,350 Pack Points to buy outright. Nine hunts in ten end inside 1,103 packs, which is about 1.5 years at the two free packs a day the game gives you. The printings come out of the Ruler of the Skies, Deluxe, Solgaleo and Charizard packs. The most recent is Starmie #033, from an expansion that shipped in July 2026. That printing attacks with Swift for 60. The card’s own words: “Starmie swims by spinning its body at high speed. As this Pokémon cruises through the ocean, it absorbs tiny plankton.” It has been drawn by four artists, PLANETA Igarashi more than anyone else with four cards.
