Every Alolan Muk card

6 printings across 3 expansions. Evolves from Alolan Grimer.

The short version

Alolan Muk has six printings in Pokémon TCG Pocket, across three expansions — the earliest in Celestial Guardians and the most recent in Fantastical Parade. It is a Stage 1 Darkness-type Pokémon printed at between 110 and 160 HP, weak to Fighting, with a retreat cost of 3. They run to five rarities — one Rare, two Double Rares, one Art Rare, one Super Rare and one Special Art Rare. The hardest to pull is the Special Art Rare from Celestial Guardians, at about 1 in 384 packs, or 1,250 Pack Points to buy outright. Nine hunts in ten end inside 883 packs, which is about 1.2 years at the two free packs a day the game gives you. The printings come out of the Gardevoir, Deluxe and Lunala packs. The most recent is Alolan Muk #097, from an expansion that shipped in January 2026. That printing carries the ability Power of Alchemy and attacks with Sludge Bomb for 70. The card’s own words: “What look like fangs and claws are actually crystallized poison that will afflict you at a mere touch, so don’t get too close.” It has been drawn by four artists, PLANETA CG Works more than anyone else with three cards.
