Every Ampharos card

The short version

Ampharos has four printings in Pokémon TCG Pocket, across three expansions — the earliest in Wisdom of Sea and Sky and the most recent in Everyday Wonders. It is a Stage 2 Lightning-type Pokémon printed at between 140 and 150 HP, weak to Fighting, with a retreat cost of 1. They run to three rarities — two Rares, one Art Rare and one Shiny. The hardest to pull is the Shiny from Everyday Wonders, at about 1 in 279 packs, or 1,000 Pack Points to buy outright. Nine hunts in ten end inside 643 packs, which is about 11 months at the two free packs a day the game gives you. The printings come out of the Everyday Wonders, Mega Altaria and Lugia packs. The most recent is Ampharos #096, from an expansion that shipped in June 2026. That printing attacks with Zapping Bullet for 90. The card’s own words: “When it gets dark, the light from its bright, shiny tail can be seen from far away on the ocean’s surface.” It has been drawn by four artists.
