The short version

Mega Ampharos has four printings in Pokémon TCG Pocket, across two expansions — the earliest in Mega Rising and the most recent in Everyday Wonders. It is a Stage 2 Lightning-type Pokémon with 210 HP, weak to Fighting, with a retreat cost of 2. They run to four rarities — one Double Rare, one Super Rare, one Special Art Rare and one Shiny Super Rare. The hardest to pull is the Shiny Super Rare from Everyday Wonders, at about 1 in 240 packs, or 1,350 Pack Points to buy outright. Nine hunts in ten end inside 551 packs, which is about 9 months at the two free packs a day the game gives you. The printings come out of the Everyday Wonders and Mega Altaria packs. The most recent is Mega Ampharos ex #103, from an expansion that shipped in June 2026. That printing attacks with Lightning Lancer for 100. It has been drawn by two artists, PLANETA CG Works more than anyone else with three cards.
