Every Mega Gengar card

The short version

Mega Gengar has three printings in Pokémon TCG Pocket, all of them in Mega Shine. It is a Stage 2 Darkness-type Pokémon with 210 HP, weak to Fighting, with a retreat cost of 1. They run to three rarities — one Double Rare, one Super Rare and one Shiny Super Rare. The hardest to pull is the Shiny Super Rare from Mega Shine, at about 1 in 300 packs, or 1,350 Pack Points to buy outright. Nine hunts in ten end inside 689 packs, which is about 11 months at the two free packs a day the game gives you. The printings come out of the Mega Shine pack. The most recent is Mega Gengar ex #039, from an expansion that shipped in March 2026. That printing attacks with Labyrinth of Shadows for 120. All of it is drawn by PLANETA CG Works.
