Every Poipole card

The short version

Poipole has two printings in Pokémon TCG Pocket, across two expansions — the earliest in Extradimensional Crisis and the most recent in Promo A. It is a Basic Darkness-type Pokémon with 60 HP, weak to Fighting, with a retreat cost of 1. They run to two rarities — one Common and one Rare. The hardest to pull is the Rare from Promo A, at about 1 in 158 packs, or 150 Pack Points to buy outright. Nine hunts in ten end inside 363 packs, which is about 6 months at the two free packs a day the game gives you. The printings come out of the Extradimensional pack. The most recent is Poipole #082, from an expansion that shipped in October 2024. That printing attacks with 2-Step, which costs one Darkness energy and hits for 20x. Flip 2 coins. This attack does 20 damage for each heads. The card’s own words: “This Ultra Beast is well enough liked to be chosen as a first partner in its own world.” It has been drawn by two artists.
