The short version
Raticate has five printings in Pokémon TCG Pocket, across three expansions — the earliest in Genetic Apex and the most recent in Ruler of the Skies. It is a Stage 1 Colorless-type Pokémon printed at between 80 and 90 HP, weak to Fighting, with a retreat cost of 1. They run to four rarities — two Commons, one Rare, one Art Rare and one Shiny. The hardest to pull is the Shiny from Ruler of the Skies, at about 1 in 559 packs, or 1,000 Pack Points to buy outright. Nine hunts in ten end inside 1,285 packs, which is about 1.8 years at the two free packs a day the game gives you. The printings come out of five different packs. The most recent is Raticate #130, from an expansion that shipped in July 2026. That printing carries the ability Treasure Collecting and attacks with Speed Attack for 40. The card’s own words: “Its whiskers are essential for maintaining its balance. No matter how friendly you are, it will get angry and bite you if you touch its whiskers.” It has been drawn by five artists.
