The short version
Rattata has four printings in Pokémon TCG Pocket, across three expansions — the earliest in Genetic Apex and the most recent in Ruler of the Skies. It is a Basic Colorless-type Pokémon printed at between 40 and 50 HP, weak to Fighting, with a retreat cost of 1. They run to two rarities — three Commons and one Shiny. The hardest to pull is the Shiny from Ruler of the Skies, at about 1 in 559 packs, or 1,000 Pack Points to buy outright. Nine hunts in ten end inside 1,285 packs, which is about 1.8 years at the two free packs a day the game gives you. The printings come out of five different packs. The most recent is Rattata #129, from an expansion that shipped in July 2026. That printing attacks with Surprise Attack for 40. The card’s own words: “This Pokémon is common but hazardous. Its sharp incisors can easily cut right through hard wood.” It has been drawn by four artists.
