What a god pack is, and why everyone restarts for one

A god pack is a pack where every card comes out at the top rarity instead of the usual one-good-card-if-you-are-lucky. It is the single most restarted-for outcome in the game.
Why it is such a big deal
A normal pack gives you one card worth keeping, on a good day. A god pack gives you a binder page. It is not an incremental upgrade over a decent pull; it is a different category of start.
That is also why it distorts people’s judgement. Chasing one, an ordinarily excellent pull starts to feel like a failure.
The odds, roughly
Published rates are not verifiable, and community estimates put it in the region of one in two thousand packs. Take that as an order of magnitude, not gospel.
At that rate, the median hunt runs into four figures of attempts. Half of players hitting it take longer than that, and a tenth take more than three times as long. Put your own number into the calculator before deciding it is worth it.
What usually happens
Most people chasing a god pack stop before they get one — not because they are unlucky, but because that is what the distribution predicts for anyone with a finite amount of free time.
Which is the whole reason a market exists for accounts that already have one.
