The short version

Charizard has 13 printings in Pokémon TCG Pocket, across four expansions — the earliest in Genetic Apex and the most recent in Crimson Blaze. It is a Stage 2 Fire-type Pokémon printed at between 150 and 180 HP, weak to Water, with a retreat cost of 3. They run to seven rarities — two Rares, four Double Rares, three Super Rares, one Immersive Rare, one Shiny, one Shiny Super Rare and one Crown Rare. The hardest to pull is the Crown Rare from Genetic Apex, at about 1 in 1,448 packs, or 2,500 Pack Points to buy outright. Nine hunts in ten end inside 3,333 packs, which is about 4.6 years at the two free packs a day the game gives you. The printings come out of six different packs. The most recent is Charizard #013, from an expansion that shipped in December 2025. That printing attacks with Inferno Onrush for 150. The card’s own words: “Its wings can carry this Pokémon close to an altitude of 4,600 feet. It blows out fire at very high temperatures.” It has been drawn by eight artists, PLANETA Igarashi more than anyone else with four cards.
