The short version
Charmeleon has nine printings in Pokémon TCG Pocket, across six expansions — the earliest in Genetic Apex and the most recent in Promo B. It is a Stage 1 Fire-type Pokémon printed at between 80 and 90 HP, weak to Water, with a retreat cost of 2. They run to three rarities — one Common, six Uncommons and two Shinies. The hardest to pull is the Shiny from Shining Revelry, at about 1 in 279 packs, or 1,000 Pack Points to buy outright. Nine hunts in ten end inside 643 packs, which is about 11 months at the two free packs a day the game gives you. The printings come out of six different packs. The most recent is Charmeleon #020, from an expansion that shipped in October 2025. That printing carries the ability Ignition and attacks with Steady Firebreathing for 50. The card’s own words: “If it becomes agitated during battle, it spouts intense flames, incinerating its surroundings.” It has been drawn by seven artists, kantaro more than anyone else with three cards.
