Every Ivysaur card

The short version

Ivysaur has five printings in Pokémon TCG Pocket, across four expansions — the earliest in Genetic Apex and the most recent in Crimson Blaze. It is a Stage 1 Grass-type Pokémon printed at between 90 and 100 HP, weak to Fire, with a retreat cost of 3. They run to two rarities — four Uncommons and one Shiny. The hardest to pull is the Shiny from Celestial Guardians, at about 1 in 559 packs, or 1,000 Pack Points to buy outright. Nine hunts in ten end inside 1,285 packs, which is about 1.8 years at the two free packs a day the game gives you. The printings come out of the Crimson Blaze, Deluxe, Solgaleo and Mewtwo packs. The most recent is Ivysaur #002, from an expansion that shipped in December 2025. That printing attacks with Synthesis. The card’s own words: “The more sunlight Ivysaur bathes in, the more strength wells up within it, allowing the bud on its back to grow larger.” It has been drawn by three artists, Kurata So more than anyone else with three cards.
